I think that Tom Cruise would be great and also Chazz Palminteri.

Hackman would be cool. Barry Pepper, maybe. Campbell Scott would be the shit in a QT movie. James Spader, Willem Dafoe.

Cate Blanchett, Julianne Moore, Dustin Hoffman, Marlon Brando (I could only imagine what QT would do with him!), Nicholson, Ed Norton, Benicio Del Toro, Pacino.

If Julianne Moore were in a Gigli sequel, I'd go see it. Put her in a Tarantino movie, and I have multiple orgasms.

Isn't Quentin known for taking an actor who's career is just about "over" (Travolta, Carradine) and usning them?  If so, are there any actors out that fit that bill AND would work well?  Just curious.
