Bottle Rocket: I went nuts.

Rushmore: I just wanted to say, I'm sorry I threw rocks at you that day.

Tenenbaums: Anyone want to get some cheeseburgers and hit the cemetery?

Anthony: One morning, over at Elizabeth's beach house, she asked me if I'd rather go water-skiing or lay out. And I realized that not only did I not want to answer THAT question, but I never wanted to answer another water-sports question, or see any of these people again for the rest of my life.

-- Bottle Rocket

Now this is some funny shit and I think no one mentioned yet.

it's not dialouge, but i think the funniest part of The Royal Tenenbaums is when Gene Hackman and Anjelica Huston are walking in the park and Danny Glover pops out from behind a tree carrying groceries......soda flowed from my nose the first time i saw that.

Bingo.  That rang so true to stuff in my life too (minus the water-sports, heh-heh)...
more than any other time in history, mankind faces a crossroads. one path leads to despair and utter hopelessness. the other, to total extinction. let us pray we have the wisdom to choose correctly.

I love the way Dudley says 'No' and shakes his in that scene, like the very idea was completely preposterous.
