Be warned - I watched Gadget at a friends recently in the dark and got extremely creeped out by it and made him change the channel. After self-analysis I realised this was probably: the fact that I had not seen it in so long, Claw is actually one of the scariest cartoon villains, and most importantly that it used to be on at 5am in the morning. As a 5 year old I used to sit alone in the living room, whilst everyone was asleep, too scared to look away from the tv at the dark corners of the room.

Christopher Nolan's directive was clear to everyone in the cast and crew: Use CGI only as a last resort.

Expensive as hell.  I hope it's available on Netflix.

7/18 will bring The Film Noir Classics Collection: Volume 3 (including Border Incident, His Kind of Woman, Lady in the Lake, On Dangerous Ground, The Racket and the Film Noir: Bringing Darkness Into Light bonus disc)

I just caught 'His Kind of Woman on TV'. Totally classy film and a hilarious performance by Vincent Price (along with Mitchums usual cooler than cool).
