That's a list I can do. I'll come back with my answer, I've been planning to revisit my favorite albums of the decade, anyway...

I listen to very little new music (the number of soundtracks I've included illustrates this) and haven't heard of 90% of what's already been listed, nevertheless here is my feeble contribution to this thread:

Glad i'm not the only one who loves The Like.

Back when iTunes was still a thing, and you could keep track of how frequently you played songs, "He's Not a Boy" managed to be my most-played song for at least three years running.

JJAMZ, the band that Z Berg started after The Like broke up, also had a handful of great songs.

Not usually a great music person, so this list is probably boring/not sophisticated. I normally only know about the good stuff years after they've come out, and this thread is great to try and find new bands to listen to.

In order of year of release, but the first one is also the one I've listened to the most:

High Violet (and Trouble Will Find Me and Sleep Well Beast and I Am Easy to Find) - The National (my favorite band, gonna see them live for a fifth time next month)
My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy - Kanye West
Heligoland - Massive Attack
The Age of Adz - Sufjan Stevens
Contra - Vampire Weekend
The Suburbs - Arcade Fire
Teen Dream - Beach House
Push the Sky Away - Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds (my favourite live performer. Already have tickets to see them next April for a third time)
Stranger in the Alps - Phoebe Bridgers
American Dream - LCD Soundsystem
