We often went to the cinema, the screen would light up and we would tremble, but also, increasingly often, Madeleine and I were disappointed. The images had dated, they jittered, and Marilyn Monroe had gotten terribly old. Ravi,  I did not. 
I had to make some big decisions, show-wise... this one hurt.
At least I'm seeing Shearwater Friday, Conan next week, and LCD Soundsystem in June.

Are you sure that's not just their sound? Scuzzy and dirty. Some (Stefen) call it ass-core.
