That's a list I can do. I'll come back with my answer, I've been planning to revisit my favorite albums of the decade, anyway...

The first one is probably mbv by My Bloody Valentine.
I'm so many people.

8. Phoebe Bridgers - Stranger in the Alps

Fuck yeah.
That's what fiction is for. It's for getting at the truth when the truth isn't sufficient for the truth.

To this I would add:

Florence and the Machine - How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful
Charly Bliss - Young Enough
Marina and the Diamonds - Electra Heart
Margot & the Nuclear So & So's - Slingshot to Heaven
Father John Misty - Fear Fun
CHVRCHES - The Bones of What You Believe
God Help the Girl (soundtrack)
Gotye - Making Mirrors

I listen to very little new music (the number of soundtracks I've included illustrates this) and haven't heard of 90% of what's already been listed, nevertheless here is my feeble contribution to this thread:

1. Ghosteen/Skeleton Tree/Push the Sky Away - Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds (of course)
2. The Master/Inherent Vice/Phantom Thread OSTs - Jonny Greenwood
3. Let England Shake - PJ Harvey
4. Riposte - Buke and Gase
5. Bright Bright Bright - Dark Dark Dark
6. Door Girl/Last Year's Savage - Shilpa Ray
7. Purple Mountains - Purple Mountains
8. You Want It Darker - Leonard Cohen
9. Have One On Me - Joanna Newsom
10. The Idler Wheel... - Fiona Apple
11. St. Vincent - St. Vincent
12. Under the Skin OST - Mica Levi
13. Wolfroy Goes to Town - Bonnie 'Prince' Billy
14. A Creature I Don't Know - Laura Marling
15. Upstream Color OST - Shane Carruth
16. A Ghost Story OST - Daniel Hart
17. Good Time OST - Oneohtrix Point Never
18. Strange Mercy - St. Vincent
19. Wild Go - Dark Dark Dark
20. Listen Up Philip OST - Keegan DeWitt
If I could move the night I would
And I would turn the world around if I could
There's nothing wrong with loving something you can't hold in your hand
You're sitting on the edge of the bed, smoking and shaking your head
Well there's nothing wrong with loving things that cannot even stand
Well there goes your moony man
With his suitcase in his hand
Every road is lined with animals
That rise from their blood and walk
Well the moon won't get a wink of sleep
If I stay all night and talk

Back when iTunes was still a thing, and you could keep track of how frequently you played songs, "He's Not a Boy" managed to be my most-played song for at least three years running.

JJAMZ, the band that Z Berg started after The Like broke up, also had a handful of great songs.
