That soundtrack will never be released or what?

With Paul Thomas Anderson's new film Phantom Thread arriving during the holiday season, we're now getting word on the accompanying soundtrack by Radiohead's Jonny Greenwood. While so far there is no firm release date for the album, it will be arriving via Nonesuch Records.

Citing from the Film Music Reporter page: "The soundtrack is expected to be released digitally next month. The CD version is set to come out on January 19, 2018 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon and the vinyl version is available to order here." The pages for the CD and vinyl releases are not up as of this moment, but if it does not digitally release this month, then more than likely it will release all across when the film goes nationwide on January 19th.

Vinyl won't be out until Spring because the film locked picture so late.

Why ‘Phantom Thread’ Was Paul Thomas Anderson’s Hardest Movie Shoot

http://www.indiewire.com/2017/12/paul-thomas-anderson-interview-biggest-challenge-daniel-day-lewis-1201908492/

Quote
For the first time, Anderson seems to have channeled some of his own sensitivities into a singular character, one whose commitment to his artistry runs counter to his relationship with the world. “I’ve thought about this a lot because it keeps coming up,” he said. “Sewing by its very nature requires a kind of patience and focus that I don’t have, but I have it for sure in other ways.”

Quote
...his tendency toward perfectionism trickles down into his distribution approach as well. Ever since he forced The Weinstein Company to release “The Master” on 70mm, Anderson has continued his crusade to make his movies available on pristine film prints. For him, it doesn’t matter that the number of theaters committed to showing movies on film around the world has dwindled; that only simplifies the process.

“It’s not that many phone calls,” he said. “It used to be impossible. We know pretty much everybody that runs film, and that kind of makes things a bit easier. At this point, it’s a tight group of people.” For instance, he added, “You know you can call The Metrograph and say, ‘Hey, make sure to run it on a seven,’ or, ‘How’s it look?’ You actually, genuinely can have a personal connection to the majority of projectionists in this country and Europe.”
Quote
“What I do is deeply important to me,” he said. “It’s the only thing I’ve ever done. It’s the only job I’ve ever had. It’s the only thing I could see myself doing.”
"There's shadows in life, baby."

Can any of you fine lads share some quotes you liked from the film?
Nothing spoilerish though.

Quotes are spoilers, though.  Try going to the Spoilers thread if you want stuff from the movie.  Welcome!  Whatever you do, do it carefully.

Probably shouldn't listen to any of the soundtrack prior to seeing it but I couldn't resist - WOW that's an incredible piece. Greenwood's talent knows no end.

This is by far my favorite of the scores he’s done for PTA.
