Teenagers did not always exist. In this living collage of rare archival material, filmed portraits, and voices lifted from early 20th Century diary entries, a struggle erupts between adults and adolescents to define a new idea of youth.

The v.o. narration is a bit cringe-worthy tbh but I've been looking forward to this for a while. It's based on the book Teenage: The Prehistory of Youth Culture: 1875-1945 by Jon Savage so for now I'm optimistic that the actual doc will be more substantial than the trailer seems to imply. Build up in the last 15 seconds has me stoked though.
