Found this. For visual reference.

This visual reference was too tempting - I had to fill blanks. "Killer Joe", "Magic Mike" and "The Wolf of Wall Street" - those are highly memorably supporting roles and should be fun to revisit in future. I won't be surprised if "True Detective" will land some awards - I don't think TV seen such a misanthrope.

This is good interview, where he talks about adjusting his career (around 7:00) and last 5 minutes are worth watching alone for laughs.

Simple mind - simple pleasures...

i think you do. what exactly is your point?

He is trying to emulate Robert De Niro's career Benjamin Button-style with success so far.

cine's douchey comment was worth it just to get such a brilliant response.

were that i had more than one upvote to give you.

and to chime in, Killer Joe was by far the most amazing performance this dude has ever given.

People don't believe me when i tell them this but it is the absolute truth.
