2001: A Space Odyssey. I love watching this movie. I don't know why.
Band of Brothers (not really a movie but I'm a world war II geek.)
Edward Scissorhands.
O Brother, Where art thou? (I also love the other odyssey. a lot.)
Visions of Light. I learn something new every time I watch it.
Un Chien Andalou. It creeps the fuck out of me, but that's why I think I love it.

that was very nice of you p. i liked it. instead of being like "ugh, wht an awful list. you try to hard" you were kind and cordial. I give you a thumbs up and a non avatar jacking sticker.
Let's go to a motel. We don't have to do anything -- we could just swim.

The matrix
"There was a fantastic universal sense that whatever we were doing was right, that we were winning. And that, I think, was the handle - that sense of inevitable victory over the forces of Old and Evil. Not in any mean or military sense; we didn’t need that. Our energy would simply prevail. There was no point in fighting - on our side or theirs. We had all the momentum; we were riding the crest of a high and beautiful wave.
So now, less than five years later, you can go up on a steep hill in Las Vegas and look West, and with the right kind of eyes you can almost see the high - water mark - that place where the wave finally broke and rolled back." - Hunter S. Thompson.
