Best Male Performance
ElPandaRoyal:
Yeah, I also thought Hammer was great in this, as well as everyone else, including Timberlake. I think The Social Network is the closest thing to a flawless movie we had in 2010. Even that ending is spot on for what Sorkin decided to do - the movie (not Zuckerberg's life) is all about a dude who can't really communicate with people very well and wants that girl back. The ending was the good kind of painful. I loved it.
S.R.:
Now you dorks are defending Timberlake too?! Come on! Inexcusable!
Alexandro:
what? are we still in high school? can't recognize a good performance because the guy is a pop star?
S.R.:
No way. Has nothing to do with that. I love Timberlake. I think he's hilarious and doesn't take himself too seriously. He's my boy.
modage:
I told the admins this but now I will repeat it here. I met him at the NYFF Social Network Premiere Afterparty. He was a really, really nice dude. I said I was a "David Fincher nerd" and he said "me too". (Also: I thought he was pretty good in this. Biased?)
