tho the academy had a better shortlist, which made its win all the sweeter.

The Cove was good, but I wanted Anvil! to win.  Those guys keep getting the shaft.

they're doing alright for themselves since that movie... better than owed considering the level of talent.

That sounds mean, but success isn't always based on who the nicest guys are.
