IDrinkYourMilkshake.com has become a popular forum to discuss the films of There Will Be Blood director P.T. Anderson.
motherfuckers!
i'm gonna drink their milkshakes for this.
looks like they're drinking ours
*edit
this milkshake buisness is catching on quick
this seriously will go down as one of the all-time-great movie lines.
i'm surprised, in general, at how many spoof videos there are out there. it's sticking in peoples brains. more people will discover this movie over time, and at the very least it will have a hugh cult following.

i will admit the parodies actually did diminish the moment in the film unfortunately.

SNL casts their hat in the Milkshake parody ring. Bill Hader drinks the milkshake of all other Plainview impressions.
That theme song is quite catchy!
haha thats a pretty good impression
Did anyone happen to catch Conan on Friday? My favorite parody of all. "It's Costly!"
Conan O'Brian, Oscar Edition

Of course, leave it to Bill Hader to do the first and only legitimately good Plainview impression. The "I'VE ABANDONED MY CHILD" bit was perfect.
the sketch really had nowhere to go though unfortunately.

that was awesome. best one yet.
I look at hippies and I see nothing worth liking
i'm not even sure it was that funny but it was EXCELLENTLY well done. definitely the best parody/plainview, sorry SNL.

A new boss in World of Warcraft (Vexallus in Magister's Terrace) when you first engage him says "Draaaaiiiin life!" in exactly the same way DDL says "draaaaaiiinage." I soiled myself when I first saw it.

I'll never understand how that has become a catchphrase. It just doesn't make sense. Have any of you ever been out in public and heard someone using that catchphrase in some shape or form? If so, I hope you don't fight back the overwhelming desire to sock them in the jaw.
Over on Blake Snyder's website he's having a competition to come up with a pitch for a movie-spinoff based on a minor character from the original movie. After thinking about different options I thought of this one:
THERE WILL BE BLUSH
Ten years after we ever-so-briefly met Paul Sunday in this film's predecessor, he returns to California to pursue that other liquid his home state is most famous for - wine. Playing like the feel-good inverse of 'There Will Be Blood,' Paul must overcome his alcoholism and megalomaniacal personality if he is to prove his genius and create the greatest rosé known to man.
Other entries are up at http://www.blakesnyder.com/2008/08/spinoff-the-contest/#comments if you're interested.

never. but it is a fact that every time i see the movie with different people everyone responds to that moment somehow, and that's the reason. a true catchphrase would be "hasta la vista baby".
