Due to the popularity of There Will Be Blood, we will have a runner-up designation for certain awards.

Will this still be implemented?

Jeremy Blackman

Yes, but you can only vote for one in each category.

So, you can only vote for one runner-up? Like with all the categories with blood do we vote for two? i'm not sure i understand?

I already sent in my ballot to CBrad and I just voted for TWBB for everything, and I think Transformers for something.

Do I have to do it all over again?

I think it's whoever gets the second most votes from "Best Film", will automatically be the runner up.

you guys give me shit because i don't know the exact process of how your little internet game works; yet these idiots can't figure out how the runner-up process works.

you guys, with your snobbish attitudes towards films and the people who watch them are an oscar-worthy documentary just waiting to be made... someone needs to just show a little initiative and make it.

...It works so that the 5 highest rated nominations for each category is tallied up, and then another voting round is to determine the winner for each of the categories.

wow.. look at us. all organized 'n shit.
you're the only one saying anything shitty.

jtm

me saying we are organized is shitty?!?!  and i thought organized was a good thing. silly me.

i was surprised/happy that so much care and attention was put into this awards show. not making it a popularity contest, but giving it to the most deserving person... but i don't care anymore.

btw, picolas, if you're going to quote the whole exchange, you should have included gambour and cinephiles post's. it's clear you were trying to make me look like the bad guy. try and be fair and balanced... you should have been a politician.

gamblour posted "..." and you said "counselor" which i didn't understand, then cine said "you've been here 5 years, right?" because you didn't understand how the xixaxies worked and that made for an ironic contrast with the time you'd been here. that's what happened. i think you look better without the other two posts.

Hmm... so what the hell happened with consistency in determining what's a performance, and what's a supporting performance? We need to come up with better definitions for this for next year.
He held on. The dolphin and all the rest of its pod turned and swam out to sea, and still he held on. This is it, he thought. Then he remembered that they were air-breathers too. It was going to be all right.
