Fuckin wackedee-wack-wacked! One of my favourite bands. Anyone sharing my passion for this multicolored psycko ensemble?

life_boy

I don't share your passion but I'll share your "fuckin wackedee-wack-wacked" phrase.

bungle is brillant. Love  disco volante the best, a masterpiece. I saw fantomas live twice, also good.

Mike Patton is brilliant..love Mr. Bungle, Tomahawk, fantomas and the Album "Music to Make Love to Your Old Lady By" (with Dan the Automater).  Did you ever hear the tripped out shit he did with Lovage?  Hot damn!
Gorobei Katayama: You're Good.
Heihachi Hayashida: Yeah, yeah. But I'm better at killing enemies.
Gorobei Katayama: Killed many?
Heihachi Hayashida: Well - It's impossible to kill 'em all, so I ususally run away.
Gorobei Katayama: A splendid principle!
Heihachi Hayashida: Thank you.

Holy mother of god! I've never heard Lovage... in fact I didn't know Patton ever worked with Dan the Automater. I have been waiting in excitement for the release of The Peeping Tom album. I'm gonna check this out immediatly.

...and has anyone heard the "Irony Is A Dead Scene" EP he did with The Dillinger Escapeplan? Everone should go check that out because it's crazy. Wacked. Insane. Brilliant.

Yeah, it's a damn good album, it's Dan the Automater (as Nathaniel "Handsome Boy"Merriweather), Jennifer Charles (form Elysian Fields) and Patton.  Pretty incredible, funny stuff.

Another damn fine Patton project.  Very hard core, screaming and shit.  A lot of fun though, I really dig that hollywood squares song.

I just heard the Lovage album through and i must say that alot of really memorable tracks is to be found here. Dan the Automater really has his way when it comes to the making of artsy hip hop, but i'd just wish that they would throw all those fills away when the album is so long. Those sort of things usually gets boring and in this case i just don't see the need.

Really really really! cool title on the opening track though:

"Ladies Love Chest Rockwell"

"Ladies Love Chest Rockwell"

Uhh guess........"Mike Patton Loves PTA!"

phil marlowe

Chest Rockwell seems to be the nickname of rapper and producer Prince Paul... so i guess not.

...and forget all negative things I've stated about Lovage cause I was wrong. Fuck-Damn!!! I love it. Truly trip hop that grows on you.

Fuck-damn...really takes the words "fuck" and "damn" to a higher level. I really liked Loveage too. I haven't heard the hole cd, but the tracks i listen to were great!

Have any of you listened to "Maldoror"?  It's an album he did with Japanese musician Masami Akita.  It's CRAZY!  Basically noise music (which Akita is popular for in Japan.)  Anyway, it's worth a listen if you can find it.

Mr Bungle´s California is one of the best rock albums ever.

I Don't Believe in Beatles

This is the closest I found to a Mike Patton thread with a quick search.

Peeping Tom leaked.
