have you heard of fantasy football and/or baseball or basketball? basically, you put together the team of your dreams with current players and as they play throughout the season, your team's points are determined by the individual stats of each player on your team. we can't keep score, but it's a cool way to define faves in different genres.

my team for an action/drama film:

writer: Coen Bros (thy count as one)
director: Tarantino
Leads: Christopher Walken, Audrey Tautou
Support: John Tuturro, Sam Elliot
Producer: Robert Redford
Editors: Whoever did Kill Bill Vol 1

it's 2:00am. this team is off the top of my head.

Obviously what you are doing right now is called (in my upcoming book of psychology at least) validation. I think it's a normal thing to do. People will reply, say anything, and then you're gonna do what you were subconsciently thinking of doing all along.
