glad i went to see this one, good heist film that deals more with the aftermath rather than the actual planning and plotting. the caper is pulled off fairly early on, the rest is the duo's attempts at unloading the goods. the director used some interesting techniques, long segments of dialogue where the camera is either behind the actor, drifting away from the convo, or completely out of focus. i really like a movie where the centerpiece is a long discussion ending in a revelation you were semi aware of but gut punches you nonetheless. good to see gael bernal garcia in a leading role, haven't seen his last few. feels like he fleshed out the character more than what was on the written page. the flick is nothing mind blowing. it is solid and good for a viewing.
