Once again, MrBurgerKing saves the day !

I'm actually starting to wonder if filmcritic does this on purpose...

Can somebody direct me to the other tearjerker page? The search engine never works for me.

Quote from: filmcriticI know what you mean.

Right? It must be me or something, seriously. Macguffin works too hard on a site with a search engine. I'm not the only one he has to redirect.

*kick* This thread may be pathetic, but I'm still looking for some sad movies.  Not movies with sad moments, like that other thread, but movies that just kick you in the gut throughout.  Any suggestions?  Movies as sad as these are the only ones that need to apply:

* Lilja 4-Ever
* Dancer in the Dark
* ...

Umm... yeah, there really aren't that many that REALLY exhaust you.  Maybe I've become a bit desensitized.  Prove me wrong.  Please and thank you.

What about movies that are happy and sad and tearjerking all at the same time? 2003 had two good ones... Whale Rider & In America.

Ghostboy

Movies that personally kicked me in the gut in the manner Ono speaks of:

Affliction
Nil By Mouth
The War Zone
Leaving Las Vegas (but only the first time I saw it)

These films have no joy in them, but they're wonderful for it.

I thought She's So Lovely was sorta cute, but I barely remember anything about it.

In America is definitely one of the best happy (and honest) tearjerkers I've seen in a long time.

El Duderino

Philadelphia
About Schmidt
The Hours
Angels in America (numerous times over)
Did I just get cock-blocked by Bob Saget?
