I literally read every single post before I posted that. Seriously. If the explanation is "I was tired of the old look and wanted to try something new," then that's fine, but I guess I thought that was a joke, didn't know who it was from (is "slog" actually Xixax? Forgive me, I'm slow), and that it would take more than that to necessitate a change that seems so drastic...?

Ahhh... I see now. But these things really do look very different. It's only now that I'm starting to see where the quotes actually begin and end and who's quoting who- the layout for that type of stuff is quite different now, so you'll have to forgive me. Like I said, it'll just take some getting used to. I'm not upset, but it's hard not comment on things looking so different and buttons being in different places, and so suddenly. I'll be up to speed in no time, I'm sure.

Two things of note...
1: This theme is a PARODY. A damn fine one, if you ask me. But like all parodies, they soon grow old. When that happens here, the XP theme will go away. Don't worry it's not permanent.
2: The new official Xixax logo is being created now, and I suspect that when we unveil that, we'll also unveil a new overall theme for the board. Or, at the very least, some tweaks to the old "XixMac" theme that we had all grown accustomed to.
Change is inevitable... But don't worry, this ain't it.
C'mon, don't we at least get a few creativity points for twisting the Windows logo on its side and turning it into an "X"? That was the inspiration for the whole theme!

It seems half the people that didn't like the change were outright with it. The other half just tried to be diplomatic in saying, "Umm.....I don't like it, but I'll prolly get use to it." I'm glad this is temporary because it does suck.
Whats funny is the few mods who are outright blasting everyone that hates it. They are trying to say,"Hey, its just a superficial change" but I sense the same anger in them as with everyone who hates it so everyone will keep bitching at each other.
I'm honestly used to it now. It's cool. I love the avatar thing. The only problem I have is the quotes, but that's not hard
