First of all, criticizing his username is obnoxious and ridiculously combative.  punchdrunk23 has proven himself of having interesting opinions about movies and an articulate way of expressing them.  he simply asked a valid question and people were too thick and stupid to answer it honestly.  

secondly, punchdrunk23, what exactly is it that you see in her as having potential?  i haven't seen any of her films, but i'll rent some if you post a few good reasons why you like her and it'd be valuable to watch her acting...

and coming from you, thank god, i know they won't be related to like, what a total babe she is.   :wink:

they didn't respond to the question though.  they didn't say, "she's a bad actress but she has a nice body."  they expressed their opinions or, urges, actually, in the most immature rudimentary way possible... i suppose, indirectly, if it was even that, answering the proposed question.   i agree, it could have been worded differently. but it still asked an essentially valid question that simply wasn't answered.

anyway, to stay "on topic" (like that has any meaning in xixax world), of course asia argento is a legitimate actress, i think she's great in her dad's stuff and in xXx, but she also shows her tits a lot, we can't be blamed for looking.

Thank you P.  She has proven her worth in her father's films.  She was also good in B.Monkey.  But let's face it, Dario's films (for me anyway) leave alot to be desired (i.e. Suspira, one of the most overrated horror films in recent memory)...and B. Monkey was a weak script.  It was an interesting story, but there was just something off about it.  Maybe her romantic interest didn't seem fleshed out enough.....
Scarlet Diva, while not the most narratively-bound script, definitely showcased her ability as an actress, and was unabashedly honest (which you've gotta respect.)

i'm still pissed off that xXx wasn't R rated and there were no boobies in it. that scene where xander walks into his room only to find the fully clothed girl stripping in his room leaves a lot to be desired. you see more of diesel's body than chick's bodies, which i think says a lot about the action genre today. think really hard to what i'm getting at...

sorry, i just thought i'd make a useless post today.

I remember reading a review for "Black Hawk Down" where the critic called it "war porn."  

Well, XxX is "action porn."  Put together fast cars, tatoos, muscles, bald heads...  and it sounds like gay hardcore.
