He is my new favorite director I think. I can only think of Maud since last night.

Is there still interest for talk about new wavers in here?

Reel

I love that dude. I've only seen Boyfriends and Girlfriends but it totally turned me on to him. Next on the list has to be Chloe in the Afternoon because of how much I liked Chris Rock's I think I love my wife. Any other suggestions? I can sincerely say he's one of my favorite directors after only seeing one movie of his.

My Night at Maud's is a must see. Pauline à la Plage too. Each one except Sous le Signe du Lion basically!

But My Night is my favorite.

Reel

I watched Chloe in the Afternoon today. It was good, but not exactly riveting. Maybe Chris Rock's 'I Think I love my Wife' ruined it for me, he made it such a more entertaining story that was more touching and definitely got more laughs out of me along the way. Still, this had it's charm. I really like him, but I'm curious to see what I think is his best work. So I orded My night at Maud's from the library today, check that out, and the saga continues...

you know i'm not sure how fresh the gang is with the man to respond to how accurate this is. i last watched Full Moon in Paris and this explains that entire movie yeah. i'd have to rewatch more of his movies to say if it's a pervasive quality
