Tarantino Stroking "Pussycat" Remake

Liz Smith reports that exploitation cinema's biggest champion Quentin Tarentino is keen on remaking Russ Meyer's cult campy soft-porn 1965 classic "Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill!".
The original followed three thrill-seeking strippers who come upon a couple in the desert. Killing the boyfriend, they take the girl hostage and hide out on a secluded ranch owned by a wheelchair-bound redneck farmer and his two dim-witted sons. Trying to locate the man's hidden fortune, they seduce the sons to learn of the secret - soon all hell breaks loose.
Tarantino wants his version to be even raunchier, and his first choices are Kim Kardashian, Eva Mendes and none other than Britney Spears for the roles.
WTF? Just release The Whole Bloody Affair already.

TERA Patrick, star of "Struggle Pretty Captive" and "Reign of Tera," is going mainstream. The porn queen is being considered for Quentin Tarantino's remake of "Faster, Pussycat, Kill! Kill!" "Quentin loves her, and she's a dead ringer for original star Tura Satana," said our source. Patrick gushes over the Russ Meyer 1966 cult film about three women on a violent desert road trip. "It would be the hottest remake ever, and I'm honored to be considered," she told Page Six. "I was built for this part."

Britney Spears to be Tarantino's 'Pussycat'?

Quentin Tarantino is a busy man.
First, there was news of his wining and dining Brad Pitt to star in 'Inglorious Bastards.' Then, we hear that 'Hostel' director Eli Roth, in fact, landed a 'Bastard' role in the World War II drama.
Now, rumors are swirling that pop-star Britney Spears has been approached by the director to star in a remake of the cult-classic, 'Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill!'
Whew! And you thought Paris Hilton was busy...
I know what you're thinking: "Britney Spears? The only thing she's acted in (besides 'Crossroads' and 'The Mickey Mouse Club') is TMZ-vision!"
But before you lash out at Ms. Spears (or Mrs. Federline or whatever...), please consider a few things:
1) This is only a rumor. It may have about as much merit to it as an Elvis sighting.
and
2) If true, she would be purrrrfect. Not only would the film re-vitalize Brit-Brit's career but Tarantino is a campy movie genius, not to mention visual poet.
