i took a class this year called sight and sound: film, where i made five short films using 16 mm b&w reversal film and an arri-s.  editing was done on a steenbeck.  we were given an allotment of eight rolls of film (each about 3 minutes of footage).  i stayed within that allotment because most of my money goes to handjobs and pot -- neither is true, but i am broke -- but a lot of people in the class bought extra rolls, some bought color, blah blah blah.  anyway, the first three are silent, the last two aren't.  any and all feedback is appreciated.  sorry for the shitty video quality.  i'm an idiot when it comes to compression/converting for uploading, so i probably have the settings all wrong.

Hey! I'm a smoker too! :yabbse-grin:

To be serious, there's not much more to go on.

They're not terrible, I guess. =)
We often went to the cinema, the screen would light up and we would tremble, but also, increasingly often, Madeleine and I were disappointed. The images had dated, they jittered, and Marilyn Monroe had gotten terribly old. We were sad, this wasn't the film we had dreamed of, this wasn't the total film that we all carried around inside us, this film that we would have wanted to make, or, more secretly, no doubt, that we would have wanted to live.
