So...I feel like I know you guys enough to let you peer deeply into my inner psyche.

I've already told you how much I love The Rain. These days, I don't think there's anything that makes me happier than a nice sprinkle. Ever wake up while it's drizzling out and you get the most intoxicating feeling that the world is yours? I do, it's been happening a lot lately and I just LOVE IT. Anyways, the other night while storm chasing I had a UFO sighting!!!

I've told you all countless times that Taxi Driver is my favorite movie. I first saw it when I was 12 under my Dad's recommendation. I was really into horror movies and my parents had no problem renting R rated stuff for years prior, but this one felt different. When my dad showed me the box, he flipped it around to show Travis with his mohawk and said "He goes crazy." That image stuck in my mind and I had to see what happened by the end, turns out I'd be revisiting that sequence for the rest of my life. On august 16th, I got to see it on 35mm for the first time. Although I've been exposed to all the remastered versions of this film where the colors POP and the image is spic and span, not a scratch to be found, something about the DIRTINESS of this  while watching it really added to the atmosphere surrounding what's going on in Travis' head. Beyond that, what deepened my appreciation for it seeing it with a crowd was how FUNNY the beginning is with Travis' flat out awkwardness in trying to make a normal interaction with someone . At home, I always identify so closely with him that his quirks seem really common and relatable, but when you're in a theater surrounded by normal people it becomes so apparent that he's a MADMAN from the start that you can't help but contain yourself for what's about to happen.

but what really capped off  of the whole night was that Travis Bickle showed up to the screening HIMSELF!

Last but not least, the reason I made this thread: to post the most violent and offensive animal abuse video ever known to mankind. Not for the Faint of heart TRIGGER WARNING don't watch if you love dogs, or think they're "cute"
