De Mornay Reportedly Arrested for DUI

Rebecca De Mornay has been arrested for investigation of drunken driving, a magazine reported Tuesday.

The actress, who starred in the films "Risky Business" and "The Hand That Rocks the Cradle," was stopped Oct. 30 for a traffic violation in Beverly Hills when officers smelled booze on her breath, according to People magazine. Authorities told the magazine her blood alcohol level was .09 percent, above the legal limit of .08.

"She was very cooperative during the arrest," Lt. Tony Lee, a police spokesman, told the magazine.

Lee did not return telephone calls from The Associated Press, and e-mails and telephone messages for De Mornay's representatives were not returned.

De Mornay had not been charged, said Los Angeles County prosecutor's spokeswoman Sandi Gibbons.

De Mornay's screen credits include HBO's surf drama "John From Cincinnati" and the films "American Venus," "Lords of Dogtown" and "Raise Your Voice." She came to prominence playing the prostitute who befriends Tom Cruise's high school student in the 1983 film "Risky Business."

Associated Press records indicate De Mornay's age is 45, while some other sources give it as 48.

Mickey Rourke Arrested in Fla. on DUI

A scooter-riding Mickey Rourke was arrested Thursday on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Rourke, star of "Sin City," "Diner" and "9 1/2 Weeks," was arrested at 4:20 a.m. and booked at the Miami-Dade County Jail, said Janelle Hall, a jail spokeswoman. He was released on a $1,000 bond, she said.

A telephone message left at the office of Rourke's agent wasn't immediately returned.

A Miami Beach Police report said Rourke made a U-turn with a red light and then swerved several times while on a green scooter. He had a flushed face and bloodshot, watery eyes, his speech was slurred, and he had a strong odor of alcohol on his breath, the report said.

"I'm not drunk, I didn't even drink that much," the report quoted Rourke as saying.

Rourke, 51, allegedly failed field-sobriety tests before being taken to headquarters. He also failed an alcohol breath test, police said.

Christopher Nolan's directive was clear to everyone in the cast and crew: Use CGI only as a last resort.

That's Nick Nolte. And it happened years ago. We may be on top of the Jenkem craze but we're still behind in celebrity gossip. Like years.

The two will converge when Mac breaks the story of Britney Spears giving jenkem to her kids.

Stefen

You guys hear this shit about Britney's sister being pregnant and how that 18 year old kid is NOT the father?

http://www.showbizspy.com/2007/12/26/casey-aldridge-is-not-the-father-of-jamie-lynn-spears-baby/

Instead the father is a unknown older guy that no one wants to name because he'll face statutory rape charges since the sluts only 16 years old. HILARIOUS! Plot thickens in the trailer park.

I got my suspicions. You should have yours too.

Sean Young Ejected From DGA Awards For Being Overserved?
Source: Defamer

Stories like the one that you are about to read are the reason we REALLY missed watching The Golden Globes this year. While we weren't at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza for last night's DGA Awards, one of our loose-lipped Defamer informants just sent us the following tip regarding an incident involving an the one of Hollywood's most unpredictable actresses, Sean Young. Yes, the same Sean Young who once appeared on The Joan Rivers Show decked out in full Catwoman gear in hopes of landing the role that would go to Michelle Pfieffer. Anyway, after taking time to hurl insults towards both Marion Cotillard and Julian Schnabel (the former en français, no less!), the scourge of James Woods' life was (allegedly) booted from the premises by a security cop. Our tipster's highly amusing recollection of the incident follows after the jump.

as a faithful reader of your blog, I just wanted to tell you about the AWESOME drama at the DGA Awards Saturday night at the Century City Hotel. Things were pretty calm for the dinner, but once the award portion of the evening began, has-been actress Sean Young started to get rowdy. She started talking loudly through out the show...at times screaming in French at the stage when that French actress from La Vie en Rose [Ed. Note - That'd be Marion Cotillard] took the stage..at other times breaking into song. She yelled at a video clip of George Clooney from Michael Clayton and then would start nuzzling the neck of her date (who seemed oblivious) but it was when Julian Schnabel took the stage toward the end of the evening that she really went kook...yelling at him to "get on with it" and to "move it on" (The DGA Awards are unique, they let all of the film nominees say something about their films and thank their crews before naming the winner at the end of the night). Julian yelled back at her to "Have another drink, Honey" and started to leave the stage before the crowd yelled at him to stay. He continued to talk and Sean stood up and mad a big production of putting on her white fur coat, walking around in a circle and then taking her seat again. Finally a security guard came over and grabbed her arm and yanked her through the tables to the side door and tossed her out. Still can't figure out who her date was (he looked like a lawyer type..an ohhhh he's going to get it at work come Monday).

Oh yes, there's other thing that we just remembered that gives this tale even a bit more creedence. Sean Young told Entertainment Weekly back in September about her unsuccessful attempts to crash Vanity Fair's annual Oscar party back in 2006. We find that to be very Interesting Spice.

Sean Young to rehab after DGA outburst
Source: Yahoo News

The 48-year-old actress was escorted from the ballroom at the Hyatt Regency in Century City Saturday night after sparring with Julian Schnabel, who was nominated for "The Diving Bell and the Butterfly."

"Actress Sean Young voluntarily admitted herself yesterday to a rehabilitation center for treatment related to alcoholism," a statement from Insignia PR said Tuesday. "It is understood that Young has struggled against the disease for many years."

At the DGAs, all of the film nominees get a chance to say a few words before the top prize is announced. Schnabel, in his trademark yellow-tinted glasses, was a bit slow to start, looking down at the podium and running his hands through his wild, curly hair.

That's when Young could be heard throughout the room urging him to get on with it. Apparently rattled, Schnabel scanned the room and asked who said that, then spotted Young and suggested that she "have another cocktail."

Then he suggested that she should finish his speech for him and started walking off the stage. Music began playing for his exit, but the audience urged him to stay and keep speaking, and he did. Young, meanwhile, was removed from the ballroom.

A call seeking comment from the Directors Guild was not immediately returned.

Joel and Ethan Coen were the winners for "No Country for Old Men."

Young made her name in the 1980s with films like "Stripes," "Blade Runner" and "No Way Out." But she's become more famous for some of her more bizarre behavior, including dressing up in a homemade cat suit in her quest to secure the role of Catwoman in the 1992 sequel "Batman Returns," which went to Michelle Pfeiffer.

She also tried to crash the Vanity Fair Oscar party in 2006.

"It was degrading," she said in an Entertainment Weekly article last year. "But when you have nothing to lose, it's really not that big of a deal."

That's so cute...Look at her all trying to be relevant. Nice try.

Kirsten Dunst checks into rehab clinic: reports

Actress Kirsten Dunst, who starred in the hit "Spider-Man" movies, has checked into a rehab center in Utah for undisclosed reasons, celebrity Web sites reported on Thursday, citing unidentified sources.

Dunst, 25, was said to have checked into the Cirque Lodge Treatment Center that in recent days has been home to another popular actress, Eva Mendes. Lindsay Lohan also spent time at Cirque Lodge last year when she was experiencing troubles.

People.com cited one source as saying Dunst "is not doing well" and that people around the movie actress had been pushing her to check into a rehab clinic. Web sites for Star magazine and the TV show Entertainment Tonight also carried reports of Dunst checking into the Cirque Lodge.

A spokesman for Dunst was not immediately available to comment.

Dunst is widely known for her role as Mary Jane Watson, the love interest of Spider-Man alter ego Peter Parker, in the box office smash movie franchise.

She rose to fame as a child actress in films such as "Interview With the Vampire," and recently played French queen Marie Antoinette in director Sofia Coppola's "Marie Antoinette."

Snipes sentenced to three years
Actor sent to jail for tax fraud

A federal judge has sentenced action star Wesley Snipes to the maximum three-year sentence on tax charges.
Prosecutors had requested three years, one year for each of Snipes' convictions of willfully failing to file a tax return.

Snipes' lawyers offered three dozen letters from family members, friends and even fellow actors Woody Harrelson and Denzel Washington attesting to his good character. They argued he should get only probation, because all three convictions were misdemeanors and the actor had no previous criminal record.

Andy Dick jailed in SoCal on drug, sex allegations

Andy Dick was arrested early Wednesday for investigation of drug use and sexual battery after the comedian allegedly pulled down a teenager's top, police said.

The former co-star of the TV sitcom "NewsRadio" was released from a detention center after posting $5,000 bail. Calls to his representatives seeking comment were not immediately returned.

Police were called to the Buffalo Wild Wings in Murrieta at about 1:13 a.m. to investigate a report of "an intoxicated male" urinating outside the bar and causing a disturbance, according to a police statement.

When they arrived, a 17-year-old girl told police that she was outside when Dick left the bar, walked up, "grabbed her tank top and bra and pulled them down and exposed her breasts," the statement said.

Friends escorted Dick to a truck, which officers stopped at a nearby Sam's Club, police said.

Dick was identified by the teenager and a witness, police said.

Marijuana and the drug Xanax were found his pants pockets during a search and he appeared "extremely intoxicated," police said.

Dick, 42, was booked at Southwest Detention Center in French Valley on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor sexual battery and misdemeanor possession of marijuana.

Dick has a reputation for crude behavior. He has been reported to have exposed himself to audiences at least twice. He was forcibly removed from the set of the show "Jimmy Kimmel Live" last year after he repeatedly touched guest Ivanka Trump without her permission.

Also last year, Dick was cited in Columbus, Ohio, for urinating on the sidewalk. A comedy club owner in the city said the actor also made inappropriate comments while onstage, groped patrons, took women into the men's room and urinated on the floor and on at least one person.

In 1999, Dick was arrested for possession of cocaine and marijuana after driving his car into a telephone pole in Hollywood. He pleaded guilty but the charges were dismissed after he went into a diversion program.
