the joke has become a reality.

The Scunthorpe Telegraph reports that Aussie actor Dan Paris (TV's 'Neighbors') is in talks with Revolution Studios to star in the film version of Knight Rider. Vin Diesel has also been rumored to be up for the role, but Revolution Studios seems to like the idea of going for an unknown for the lead role as the Knight Rider name sells itself.
