apparently this is 'the motion picture event of the year', so i guess we should all be excited.

how many times has a movie thats clearly not 'the motion picture event of the year' claimed to be that very event?
Christopher Nolan's directive was clear to everyone in the cast and crew: Use CGI only as a last resort.

I like that part in the trailer when they were trying to portray the "average non-soldier Americans"--"they were bankers...lawyers...husbands...dreamers."
