Downfall
Capote
Batman Begins
Wallace and Gromit
Millions
40-Year-Old Virgin
Devil's Rejects

There are a few I still haven't seen like Sin City and Old Boy, which I swear I will get around to.

I think Oldboy came out in 2003.

Downfall was 04.

release is relative to every country. I saw Downfall in theaters in 2005

modage

oldboy too is this year for USA.
Christopher Nolan's directive was clear to everyone in the cast and crew: Use CGI only as a last resort.

i think the official american release was sometime in february.  so yeah.

and that's probably on the top of my list.

I was hesitant to do this until I'd seen enough of the contenders.  So here's my 'so far' list while the majority of you prep your 'best of' lists.  This is having seen about 3/4 of what I want to see from this year, with some notables listing, that's a different list, but I will say I own and have not yet watched Yes.

Five because Ghostboy did five in the beginning.  Alphabetical because I'm fickle until time has sewn itself shut.

Grizzly Man
Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang
Mysterious Skin
Save the Green Planet
Where the Truth Lies

No surprise, right.
Raven haired Linda and her school mate Linnea are studying after school, when their desires take over and they kiss and strip off their clothes. They take turns fingering and licking one another's trimmed pussies on the desks, then fuck each other to intense orgasms with colorful vibrators.

I can't believe so many people have the new Batman on their lists...

1. The White Diamond
2. No Direction Home
3. My Summer of Love
4. The Weeping Meadow
5. Tropical Maladay
6. A History of Violence
7. Match Point
8. Grizzly Man
9. Oliver Twist
10. Palindromes

Two Herzog's on one list...  :inlove:

I don't know quite how to take that... So I'll assume you just meant that I rule... Good Call.

I actually agree with Pete's assessment.

i don't think foreign is that low. nor can i think of what hyped up sci-fi refers to. horror would only be that high for a MONTH, if that, and after this year i don't think there's much more to see there.
under the paving stones.

it's sort of pointless to do a "So far this year" like 3 weeks before the end of the year.

actually, it makes perfect sense.  When the year is over...the "so far" part can be removed.

actually that's a new thread.  it is every year, so lets not complicate things.
