Biggest movie of the year right here.

Worst movie of the year right here.

I hope this is not another case of "let's put the funniest parts in the trailer".

hate the premise, but love the thunder song.

Yeah that would be a shame especially as they forgot to put any funny parts in this trailer.

Yikes. This is embarrassing.

So it's Wilfred but no where near as smart/charming/funny?

mogwai

I'm just wondering, why do you guys reckon it's bad? You're all entitled to your own opinions of course but I'm just curious.

Look at what Ebert said in his review:

"The funniest movie character so far this year is a stuffed teddy bear. And the best comedy screenplay so far is "Ted"'

He gave it 3 1/2 stars!!

Mod, you've seen some shit. What would give ole Ebes a good run for his money?

modage

Ha, what do you mean?

My 5 word "Ted" review: Funny but not neccessarily good.
Christopher Nolan's directive was clear to everyone in the cast and crew: Use CGI only as a last resort.

I'm just asking who you think the funniest character and best comedy script of this year are so far, since you are in the know and please, God, please. It cannot be this.

I guess that's kind of irrelevant though. You don't have to answer.

The Ultimate Badass

Generally, people see comedies to laugh, and this movie is funny. It doesn't try to transcend the genre or be anything other than a straight up joke comedy. It's a stupid, funny movie--nothing to get upset about.
