Title: Alan J. Pakula
Post by: SiliasRuby on January 28, 2009, 07:14:21 AM
Even though he's dead, I've decided to start a thread after one of the suspenseful directors of the 1970's and up.

Klute is amazing
All The Presidents Men is his masterpiece
Sophie's choice proved he could do drama
Still have not seen The Parallex View
Presumed innocent is lacklaster at best
But The Pelican Brief and The Devil's Own are heavily above average.

So....discuss.

Holy shit!  What an awesome thread-start.  You sold it out before it even began.

I'm going to start a thread about the MOST AMAZING SANDWICH I'VE EVER EATEN!

- The BREAD is PERFECT!
- The MAYONNAISE tastes like no other!
- The Ham is very ham-like
- I forgot to put salt on it
- The turkey is extra dry and quite terrible
- The bacon isn't bad
