Title: My Boogie Nights Gift To You All!
Post by: aurora on June 16, 2003, 03:27:43 AM
Ok,

I promised something big after uploading the complete HARD EIGHT soundtrack 6 months ago... and here it is

I have now completed THE DEFINITIVE BOOGIE NIGHTS soundtrack guide

http://www.aurz.net/PTA/Boogie

Every song that is not on the 2 CDs is available to download in CD quality mp3 format.

I spent alot of time on this SO PLEASE post some positive feedback in here - and some suggestions too :)

Check out the bottom of page 4 for a extra gift :)

Cheers

aurora

PS: MacGuffin - bookmark this so you can refer it to anyone who asks 'what song is in Boogie Night when....' ;)

Really really awesome. I need that Craft Theme forever.

Some songs may be missing; I made a list of all the songs in the credits, and these are ones that I still don't have:

Off the Road - Richard Gilka
Disco Fever - Roger Webb
Flying Object - Roger Webb
Data World - Roger Webb

That's it. That's all it's missing. Great work though!

Is this Mac-friendly? I can't get it to work. My browser doesn't even open the page.  :(

Those 4 songs are unavailable from anywhere :(

Off The Road is what Buck plays on the 8track at the shop

And all that Roger Webb songs are in Amber Waves documentary on Dirk Diggler

They are impossible to obtain unless PTA wants to send me them from the audio stems ;)

I don't have enough web space available to put that up too

But in a few weeks I'll take that down and put up the Hard Eight soundtrack if enough people are interested

Or if Sphinx wants to host the mp3s for me again - that would be cool

Alright, thanks. Just see what you can do. I think a lot of people might be interested if you make a thread about it. I bet there's been a lot of new people in the past 6 months.

Quote from: ©bradwait what? when is it used in casino?

It plays under the scene where everybody's watching everybody else. "The dealers are watching the players, the box men are watching the dealers. The floor men are watching the box men..."

That version is sung by Les McCann and Eddie Harris though.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

And Aurora, thanks. I made a Boogie Nights Soundtrack #3. But I think you're missing the pre-title "The Big Top (Boogie Nights Theme)" on your soundtrack guide.

Hmm... the only reason I can think of why its not loading on MACs is because I've got scripting to make the links only underline when you put your mouse over em

Okay... it has something to do with Internet Explorer for Mac.

Who knows why, but it works in Netscape for Mac.

If Aurora were to put HTML links directly to the files themselves, us Mac guys could download them.

If not, I'm downloading them right now with Netscape... seems to be working just fine.

I was going to put in the score (The Big Top) and also put in  Clementine's Loop but I thought I would just stick to the songs - thats why its called 'The songs of Boogie Nights' :)

We can't host the MP3s. We can't afford the bandwidth, and it would be kind of illegal.
