Buying used DVDs from Blockbuster as gifts

My friend is giving his dad a used box of Band of Brothers.  They allowed us to check the discs before buying, so it was cool.

well, blockbuster is evil and they have to horrible cases so i'd say 'no'.  buying used from elsewhere as long as copy is okay is fine though.
Christopher Nolan's directive was clear to everyone in the cast and crew: Use CGI only as a last resort.
