Last week I found a pristine used copy of High And Low Criterion for $3.00.
Let's go to a motel. We don't have to do anything -- we could just swim.

At a local video store here in Santa Fe, New Mexico. It was obviously priced wrong but who am I to say anything?

I'm always hoping I find a Criterion Salo or something in the bargain bin, but no luck.  Just copy after copy of Lost in Space and Fair Game.

Twin peaks season 1 including the pilot R2 £17.99 at play.com. I urge anyone in Europe to snap this gem up. I got the R1 version when it came out and it is the best quality picture, colour and sound of any DVD Iíve watched as well as being one of the most intriguing TV programs Iíve ever watched! Now they have to put me out my pain and release season 2!!!!
"There was a fantastic universal sense that whatever we were doing was right, that we were winning. And that, I think, was the handle - that sense of inevitable victory over the forces of Old and Evil. Not in any mean or military sense; we didnít need that. Our energy would simply prevail. There was no point in fighting - on our side or theirs. We had all the momentum; we were riding the crest of a high and beautiful wave.
So now, less than five years later, you can go up on a steep hill in Las Vegas and look West, and with the right kind of eyes you can almost see the high - water mark - that place where the wave finally broke and rolled back." - Hunter S. Thompson.
