Has there been any news since this? http://cigsandredvines.blogspot.co.uk/2012/10/punch-drunk-love-blu-ray-coming-next.html
And if not, WHAT is happeninn? We need it bad.
Do you guys reckon we'll get it in 2014?
No.
How come?
Because time is a flat circle.
No news about it since a lot of time. And PTA has Inherent Vice to play with for months.
hmm. could be a mistake. someone somewhere on the internet could for sure say a thing or two about licensing rights and the possibility
to speculate on this as a delight, i'll say part of criterion's strategy has been time-appropriate releases, and iv gets released in december so that makes december suitable for pdl on their release calendar
he does have what it is called a phantom page:

I guess I should finally see this movie, huh?
Nah
Woah!
Weird cover choice.
I guess they avoid the poster image, but Paul knows what he's doing. No need to mess with it.
Psyched about a new Brion interview. I remember the days where he had soundtracks coming out pretty frequently. Haven't heard about him much at all lately.
kinda lackluster special features for pta's criterion debut, would have loved a commentary or new interview. either way, the transfer will be killer. hopefully a hard eight release is not too far down the road.
I mean, it's cool and all, but a little late to the party. PDL has been streaming for a couple years now. And who buys DVDs anymore? Even blu-rays.
And all this time and still no actual date?
I've been through two DVDs of PDL. And magnolia and boogie nights. Am I really gonna get a third? *
* Yeah probably.

watched the criterion blu for the first time in full since picking it up three years ago: talk about a swooner. seeing PDL for the first time in about 5 years on a beautiful blu is pure exultance, a surefire aquatic optcial sweller. brion composed that score out of the deepest depths of his magic hat, the music just overwhelms on every cue. forgot how breathtaking a film PTA made in the early 2000's. no idea why it took so long to get around to a rewatch, but now I just want to play this movie until I can't stand the sight of it, just wanna smash its face it's so pretty.
