You know, I've been sitting here thinking, ever since I asaw this topic yesterday. I've been thinking of something to say, something to describe my feelings of seeing this movie for the first time. Well, it looks like I don't have to:

And, on opening night, "The Phantom Menace" was fantastic. Maybe I didn't exactly get my childhood back that night, but I came closer than I had with any other movie since the mid-1980s. Oh, the holes and problems were apparent even at the first viewing, but we didn't discuss them, didn't even think about them. I was just appreciative that, for a couple hours, I had a chance to sit in a darkened theatre and re-enter the Star Wars universe.

I got nostalgia-shivers.

Has anyone seen Star Woids?  That's the documentary about the whole hype over Episode 1... i'm actually in it... in a scene they shot in Westwood, CA, you can see me for a few seconds... i'm embarressed by this...
