Hey! I've got an observation. It's pretty inane though. I warned you!

Did you ever notice that some directors' previous jobs are reflected in their films? Seriously! I hope this is pretty obvious, cause I'll get pretty mad if I have to explain it!

Godard - Critic
De Sica - Office Clerk
Tarantino - Video Store Guy
Gilliam/Burton - Animator
Altman - TV Director
Woody Allen - Stand-up Comic
Scorsese/Coppola/Lucas - Film Student
Kurosawa - Painter
Kubrick - Photographer
Crowe - Writer
Cameron - Physics Major/Truck Driver (I didn't make that up)
Smith - Guy who stands around and talks, I mean, clerk
Eastwood - Bad Ass
Reiner - Meathead
Malick - Researcher for Haley's Comet
Wes Anderson - Executive Sales Chief, Pretentious Witticisms, Inc.
Paul Thomas Anderson - Paul Thomas Anderson
Brett Ratner - Shitmonger

Pretty neat, huh? Also, pretty inane! Can you think of any yourself? Go ahead, it's fun! (and inane.)  :(
