the mogwai concert was truly amazing (it happened about 3 weeks ago).  best concert ive ever seen.

Sigur Rós

OK, now I've listened to the new Mogwai album like a 1000 times and yep this is fucking great. Love it. I totally understand why 'mogwai' named himself after this band. The guitarsound is a little Sigur Rósish, rite?

Christopher Nolan's directive was clear to everyone in the cast and crew: Use CGI only as a last resort.

I listened to a 30-second sample of "Everyone Else in the World"... and I almost cried.

I just ordered a $20 copy of "This Is"... which apparently is not easy to find for under $35.

radio songs

mogwai are releasing a selection of radio sessions this autumn.

'government commissions (bbc sessions 1996-2003)' collects material from the post-rock scots' sessions for radio 1's john peel and evening session shows. it precedes a new album next year and is released on october 25.

fresh from the curiosa tour of the us, mainman stuart braithwaite said: "the reason we're putting out this collection is simple, the recordings here are worth hearing. some are definitely better than the official recordings. some are sketchy but to be honest so are we. sketchy but nice. nicely sketchy."

Sigur Rós

I can't believe that they are playing here in July when I'm in Iceland. Jonsi was invited to the birthday I'm going to. That's what I call bad timing!

Time for you to change your username. Poser. Nothing would ever stop me from watching myself or anyone else I was named after play.

Change is complete. Now I have my real first name.
