All their albums are wonderful (haven't heard How I Quit Smoking), but Is A Woman is simply perhaps the most perfect album I own. Perfect in the sense that it creates such a beautiful, heart-breaking mood from beginning to end, never loses it, and is just... just... fucking WONDERFUL.

Yes, yes it is - it's absolutley gorgeous. Distance From Her to There is on Nixon, which is very cool, but nothing compared to the restrained wonderfulness of Is A Woman. Nothing groundbreaking, just tear-jerking melancholy that you can instantly relate to, give through the medium of ever-so-slight irony... Truly greatness.
