anyone else see this?  made in 2005, didn't get a u.s. release till this year.  alexander sokurov's inexplicable, ineffable rumination on a day in the life of emperor hirohito upon the end of world war II is really amazing with the performance of the year from issey ogata.  i've only seen one other sokurov, russian ark, and hated it but it may be time to go back to it for reconsideration.  if you get a chance to see this i highly recommend it.
