I loved Emma Suárez's performance in
The Red Squirrel (1993), but haven't seen anything she's done since her last work with Julio Medem 20 years ago. Very excited to see what she does as an adult.

Yeah. This was exquisite.
I prefer weird Almodovar, but this is one of his very best melodramas. It beats the pants off Volver.
SPOILERS
And man does he know how to end a movie. I loved that choice.
That's the thing. So many moments in an Almodovar film just make you want to point at the screen and yell "yes, that is the perfect choice!"
