Best Debut Film: MICHAEL CLAYTON (Tony Gilroy)

THE NOMINEES

Away From Her
Control
Gone Baby Gone
The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters
Michael Clayton

Pwaybloe

This was probably the most difficult category.  Michael Clayton deserves it, though.

Gamblour.

Yeah, if you ask me, it could be a five-way tie. Clayton made it to the Oscars, which is amazing for a debut. Away From Her is really powerful and from out-of-left-fielder Sarah Polley, King of Kong is one of my favorite movies of all time, Control is also powerful and amazing and finally from Corbijn, and Gone Baby Gone proved Affleck doesn't suck.
