Rollerskate Skinny - Horsedrawn Wishes

One of the lost classics of the 90's. Someone from another board told me about this a while back. It's one of his all-time top 10, and after listening to it nonstop for the past month, it's close to being on my own.

Weird. Oh

The more arguments you win, the fewer friends you will have.

I believe the style's called "shoegaze." My Bloody Valentine is a similar band.
I listened to the preview online, sounds....soothing, so to speak.
We often went to the cinema, the screen would light up and we would tremble, but also, increasingly often, Madeleine and I were disappointed. The images had dated, they jittered, and Marilyn Monroe had gotten terribly old. We were sad, this wasn't the film we had dreamed of, this wasn't the total film that we all carried around inside us, this film that we would have wanted to make, or, more secretly, no doubt, that we would have wanted to live.

Actually it rocks. Walls of guitars and keyboards.

wow, the All Music Guide review makes it sound pretty good.
it also said the Kevin Shields' brother was in the band for a while.
where did you find clips? there is no "buy" link on AMG.
I am Torgo. I take care of the place while the Master is away.
