Ok, this is gonna sound strange, but when I was a kid in the mid eighties, probably around 85, there was this movie I remember watching with my brother and I can't for the life of me remember much other than there was a guy who ran track and his girlfriend died and he dug up her body and brought it into his room. That's really all I remember and who knows, maybe my memory is so distorted now that this was merely a dream I had when I was five, but I don't think so? Anyone remember anything like this? I think It might have been a TV movie of some sort.

Dude, that is silly. You are not a kid when you are 85.

I said in the Mid Eighties around 85, not when I was 85. I ain't 85 now, I was never was, and I doubt I'll ever be: I smoke too much. Anyhow, I am actually being completely serious with this post I need help finding this flick.  I want to show it to my girlfriends parents.

I searched IMDB for every phrase I could think of. athlete, runner, jogger, track, exhume, girlfriend, body, home, room.

Nada.

MacGuffin

I'd say "Re-Animator", but the story isn't the same. It was 1985 though.

Need more to go on. Any more story details; actors who were in it? Was it more scary horror, or comedy horror?

hey you guys remember that movie Flight of the Navigator?

or MAC and Me? you guys remember MAC and Me?
are you gonna eat with us too?

Ha, I watched Flight Of The Navigator last night! I found it kinda tries to work on the same level as E.T. does, and pretty much pulls it off. The kid in this being very reminisent of Elliot. Although the "UFO" does get a bit too cheeky at times!

It's possibly "Blue Omega" made in 1979. I haven't seen this, from what I gather it's one freaky movie.

It's directed by Joe D'Amato, seems he is usually credited by a different name for everything he does.

..... and the movie might also be known as: Beyond the Darkness, Blue Holocaust, Buried Alive or The Final Darkness, among other things.

I really don't know for sure, but it very well could be Blue Omega. The only problem with that is I'm not sure whether or not they would have shown this on Cable Tv back in 84-85. But then again, this was right around the time when Video was making it big and all the italian horror films were being put into video stores in those big porno boxes. I'm pretty sure it was on TV though, maybe HBO or some station ran it edited to shit. I don't know, has anyone else seen this movie?

I really don't understand how it's poorly executed- ??? And what exactly do you mean when you say "it will come in handy for me eventually?" Just a little confused...
