it's a long story but I'm in a situation where I need to pick out sony gear to get for making things. what is the best sony miniDV between 2 and 5 thousand (3ccd, XLR inputs)? Is a VAIO good for editing on (of course if I get an external hard drive and all that good stuff). what kind of editing software can I run on a non-mac laptop? thanks.
