The first Idle Chatter we designed was quite naturally perfect, it was a work of art, flawless, sublime, a triumph equaled only by its monumental failure. The inevitability of its doom is apparent to us now as a consequence of the imperfection inherent in every human being, thus we redesigned it, based on it's history to more accurately reflect the varying grotesqueries of it's nature.

i think the threads were getting a bit riddiculously pointless...hey, it's idle chatter, but a lot was just unnecessary.

That's what made it good, IMO.  People need to vent their ridiculousness somewhere...woould you rather it happened in Now Playing?

A lot of the clutter consisted of the "Ask _________" threads.  The only one of those I found interesting was "Ask Gold Trumpet."

I didn't think it was necessary, but it doesn't matter now anyway.
