Thanksabunch. 'Compared to what' is awesome.

Quote from: ebeamandamn, did I miss out on the Hard Eight sdtk thing? Or is still available? I would love to have some of that.

I don't have enough web space available to put that up too

But in a few weeks I'll take that down and put up the Hard Eight soundtrack if enough people are interested

Or if Sphinx wants to host the mp3s for me again - that would be cool

jokerspath

Wow, that page is super impressive.  I find that to be quite the favor...

Alright, thanks. Just see what you can do. I think a lot of people might be interested if you make a thread about it. I bet there's been a lot of new people in the past 6 months.

Think PTA used that because of its brilliance in Casino (albeit diff version...)??
Those who say that the totalitarian state of the Soviet Union was not "real" Marxism also cannot admit that one simple feature of Marxism makes totalitarianism necessary:  the rejection of civil society. Since civil society is the sphere of private activity, its abolition and replacement by political society means that nothing private remains. That is already the essence of totalitarianism; and the moralistic practice of the trendy Left, which regards everything as political and sometimes reveals its hostility to free speech, does nothing to contradict this implication.

When those who hated capital and consumption (and Jews) in the 20th century murdered some hundred million people, and the poster children for the struggle against international capitalism and America are now fanatical Islamic terrorists, this puts recent enthusiasts in an awkward position. Most of them are too dense and shameless to appreciate it, and far too many are taken in by the moralistic and paternalistic rhetoric of the Left.

there's a version of compared to what by Mya and Common in a coke commercial.
The corpses all hang headless and limp bodies with no surprises and the blood drains down like devil's rain we'll bathe tonight I want your skulls I need your skulls I want your skulls I need your skulls Demon I am and face I peel to see your skin turned inside out, 'cause gotta have you on my wall gotta have you on my wall, 'cause I want your skulls I need your skulls I want your skulls I need your skulls collect the heads of little girls and put 'em on my wall hack the heads off little girls and put 'em on my wall I want your skulls I need your skulls I want your skulls I need your skulls

Royal Tenenbaum

I'd love that Hard Eight soundtrack too! Please post it again.

Quote from: ©bradwait what? when is it used in casino?

It plays under the scene where everybody's watching everybody else. "The dealers are watching the players, the box men are watching the dealers. The floor men are watching the box men..."

That version is sung by Les McCann and Eddie Harris though.

And Aurora, thanks. I made a Boogie Nights Soundtrack #3. But I think you're missing the pre-title "The Big Top (Boogie Nights Theme)" on your soundtrack guide.

Quote from: godardianIs this Mac-friendly? I can't get it to work. My browser doesn't even open the page.  :(

I'm also on a Mac and I'm having the same problem. Not using Safari - using Eplorer.

RegularKarate

Yeah... Mac-man here.. I can open it fine at work, but not here at home.

and I'm on explorer.

aurora

Hmm... the only reason I can think of why its not loading on MACs is because I've got scripting to make the links only underline when you put your mouse over em

RegularKarate

Okay... it has something to do with Internet Explorer for Mac.

Who knows why, but it works in Netscape for Mac.

If Aurora were to put HTML links directly to the files themselves, us Mac guys could download them.

If not, I'm downloading them right now with Netscape... seems to be working just fine.

Theres the link to the files

But you don't get to see my great page design :(
