Title: MoMA Screenings
Post by: Reinhold on February 02, 2006, 09:52:46 AM
The Museum of Modern Art has some really cool film screenings and events coming up. There are student discounts and I've heard from people who have money that the membership is worth getting.

Right now there's a Pixar exhibit (screening of the incredibles on the 6th if you missed it in theaters the first time) and an Asian cinema series that's finishing up soon. I've heard it's fantastic but haven't checked it out.

I was looking through the schedule and saw a lot of stuff that may be of interest to xixaxers.

there are also extended schedules as PDF's.

yes i've been meaning to go see the Pixar exhibit all month but shaky employment and a $20 (x2) admission fee has been keeping me away.  and the fact that i probably have seen most of the stuff on display because i have all the Art Of... books.  but we're going this weekend for sure.  but seriously, nyc needs to learn from dc: MUSEUMS SHOULD BE FREE.
