Eric Von Stroheim's GREED

Have any of you seen this? I think it is by far one of the greatest film ever made. I can't tell you how blown away i was by this. In my opinion Greed and D W Griffith's INTOLERANCE are up there with Citizen Kane.

I agree.. I wish they had recovered the entire film though.

i know. what was the running time? something around 10 hours i think? ive seen the b&w version. supposedly on the original there was a lot of hand painted scenes -- especially with scenes containing the gold. i wish i could see it. i saw a print of intolerance though --- that was pretty amazing.
