If you had to recommend one album for me to listen to, what would it be?

I consider myself VERY music illiterate, at least according to other people's terms. My music eclecticism seems to be lacking. I've tried to make up for it. Recommend anything, old, new, any genre. So long as it doesn't suck.

Christopher Nolan's directive was clear to everyone in the cast and crew: Use CGI only as a last resort.

What's your favorite album ever?  Tell us why in one sentence.  Then I'll start recommending stuff.

Bonnie 'Prince' Billy - "I See A Darkness"

One of the most emotionally moving collection of songs I have ever come across.  This is one of my all-time favorites.  I also feel it's underappreciated so that's why I'm suggesting it now as well.

Grassroots by 311. I know many don't listen to them, especially their early stuff, but it is great technically, it's emotionally evocative, and it's fun to listen to. If you can give me some music with those three things, that'd be great. If it helps, I think the White Stripes are the end of good music as we know it.

Modage, yeah, I've heard OK Computer, haven't given it a good hard listen but I do like a lot of the songs, Kid A is really fucking good. I do have some music knowledge, it's just my scope is lacking.

smash, thanks for that recommendation. I will try and find it.
