FCP Problem

When applying a cross dissolve to pictures there's a jump on both the outgoing and incoming photo...it's almost like a pixel shift.  I found some stuff on the fcp discusion board and we tried setting field dominace to NONE and and the flicker filter (which only works if you don't have a move on the photo) and applying a filter from the color corrector.  any suggestions would be great.  thanks.

we fixed it.  used a deinterlace filter.
